We are a locally owned family business, in our 10th year of supplying local seafood, meat products, game and chicken supplies to Mount Isa and the surrounding region. We are also the local Ice works, supplying most of the city with 3.5kg bags of crushed ice, and also supplying a 10kg bag of crushed ice as well as a 5kg block ice to the public from our store.We are happy to pride ourselves on the fact that our seafood is locally sourced throughout Australia, mostly from the Gulf of Carpentaria - the home of the Gulf Barramundi and other products from along Queensland's coastline. We have one of the largest ranges of seafood throughout the whole of Queensland and many of our travelling customers have told us our range extends beyond any range they have seen elsewhere. We have a great name for our whole meat products, which include Rumps, Rib Fillets, Blades and Rounds and most of the time we are the cheapest price in town. We sell all of our meat products as whole cryovaced meats, fresh and never frozen. We have a fantastic range of game meats and chicken products as well. Usually the word around town is, if you can't get it anywhere else then 'Raps' should have it and if not we will try our hardest to get it in for you.We also sell a great range of bait - we cover any bait supplies from local fishing at the lake, to any freshwater river fishing or for bigger trips to the Gulf or Northern Territory. We are the place to stop before you head away. We have small river prawns to the larger soft & broken, squid, mullet and pilchards. On occasion we also have fish heads for the crab pots as well.
