For six years now, Scarborough Baptist church has been running an Outside School Hours Care known as SB OSHC. Launching in 2007, this initiative has seen the church provide a valued and caring service to over nine different local schools. Over the years, SB OSHC has provided before school, after school and vacation care to more than 250 children and young people during that time. One of the valued aspects is our frequent evaluation of the service we provide. One of the things that we heard was that ‘SB OSHC’ as a name is a mouthful to say and perhaps even harder to explain.

Well we took our time, but this year SB OSHC is undergoing a serious facelift. From now on, you’ll still see our same friendly and good looking staff – but they’ll be wearing a new uniform. You’ll see new banners, new bus signage, new letterheads and maybe even a new magnet or two. That’s right… SB OSHC is changing its name and look to ‘Brighton Kids’. It looks different and a lot easier to say, but as our new look hopefully shows – we’re still about life, fun, hope and growth.
